A review!
This is my first review of a product...Hopefully the first of many.
Agfa n8s Super 8 film splicer
I received this splicer as a present and its by far the best example of a home splicer i have used. The process is simple, fast and very tidy, the only slight mess made is some small pieces of film, which is to be expected. As this splicer is designed with film cement in mind you don't have to fiddle about with the tape film splices anymore, plus film cement creates a much stronger, more permanent bond (or so it seems to me). I have been using Hama film cement, which has been doing a good job so far, but i am yet to try a rival brand. If you can track one of these machine down i recommend them!
Happy editing!

Welcome!!!
Hello and welcome to the super 8 is great blog! I am aiming to bring together film-makers and lovers of super 8 to work together on collaborations and share their films online.
I have been shooting super 8 for a few years now and i still love the anxious wait after posting off my films to see what results i am going to get, the un-predictability of the format is what draws me to it.
I will be uploading some of my work as soon as i get a chance, but feel free to link to your own work in the comments if you have some nice footage.
